16 Moreover, the one who (A)blasphemes the name of Yahweh shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

(B)And the high priest said to Him, “(C)I put You under oath by (D)the living God, that You tell us whether You are the [a]Christ, (E)the Son of God.” 64 Jesus *said to him, (F)You yourself said it; nevertheless I tell you, [b]hereafter you will see (G)the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and (H)coming on the clouds of heaven.”

65 Then the high priest (I)tore his garments and said, “He has blasphemed! What further need do we have of witnesses? Behold, you have now heard the blasphemy; 66 what do you think?” They answered and said, “(J)He deserves death!”

64 “You have said so,”(F) Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One(G) and coming on the clouds of heaven.”[a](H)

65 Then the high priest tore his clothes(I) and said, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy. 66 What do you think?”

“He is worthy of death,”(J) they answered.
