“Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil made from pressed olives. Use it to keep the lamps burning and giving light all the time. Aaron must take care of the lamps in front of the Lord from evening until morning all the time. This is a law that will last for all time to come. The lamps are outside the curtain in front of the tablets of the covenant law in the tent of meeting. The lamps are on the pure gold lampstand in front of the Lord. They must be taken care of all the time.

“Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually. Outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, Aaron is to tend the lamps before the Lord from evening till morning, continually. This is to be a lasting ordinance(A) for the generations to come. The lamps on the pure gold lampstand(B) before the Lord must be tended continually.

Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.

Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the Lord continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.

He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the Lord continually.
