16 You will raise the price if there are more years, or lower the price if there are less years because it is the number of harvests that are being sold to you. 17 You must not cheat each other but fear your God because I am the Lord your God. 18 You will observe my rules, and you will keep my regulations and do them so that you can live securely on the land.

16 When the years are many, you are to increase the price, and when the years are few, you are to decrease the price,(A) because what is really being sold to you is the number of crops. 17 Do not take advantage of each other,(B) but fear your God.(C) I am the Lord your God.(D)
18 “‘Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws,(E) and you will live safely in the land.(F)
