Leviticus 25:16-18

New American Standard Bible

¹⁶^(A)In proportion to ^[a]a greater number of years you shall increase its price, and in proportion to ^[b]fewer years you shall decrease its price, because it is the number of crops that he is selling to you. ¹⁷So ^(B)you shall not ^[c]wrong one another, but you shall ^[d]fear your God; for I am the Lord your God.

¹⁸‘You shall therefore ^[e]follow My statutes and keep My judgments so as to carry them out, so that ^(C)you may live securely on the land.

¹⁶When the years are many, you are to increase the price, and when the years are few, you are to decrease the price,^(A) because what is really being sold to you is the number of crops. ¹⁷Do not take advantage of each other,^(B) but fear your God.^(C) I am the Lord your God.^(D)
