²⁹ Further, ^(A)you will eat the flesh of your sons, and you will eat the flesh of your daughters.

⁵⁷ and toward her afterbirth that comes from between her ^[a]legs, and toward her children to whom she gives birth, because ^(A)she will eat them secretly for lack of anything else, during the siege and the hardship with which your enemy will ^[b]oppress you in your ^[c]towns.

^29 (A)So we cooked my son and ate him; and I said to her on the next day, ‘Give your son, so that we may eat him’; but she has hidden her son.”
