Leviticus 27:25-27

International Standard Version

²⁵Every valuation is to be according to the shekel of the sanctuary, evaluated at 20 gerahs to the shekel.

²⁶“No person is to consecrate the firstborn, because the firstborn of the animals already belongs to the Lord. Whether ox or goat, it belongs to the Lord. ²⁷If it’s an unclean animal, then he is to ransom it according to your valuation, adding a fifth to it. If it’s not redeemed, then it is to be sold according to your valuation.

New International Version

²⁵Every value is to be set according to the sanctuary shekel,^(A) twenty gerahs^(B) to the shekel.

²⁶“‘No one, however, may dedicate the firstborn of an animal, since the firstborn already belongs to the Lord;^(C) whether an ox^[a] or a sheep, it is the Lord’s. ²⁷If it is one of the unclean animals,^(D) it may be bought back at its set value, adding a fifth of the value to it. If it is not redeemed, it is to be sold at its set value.

²⁶Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the Lord's firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the Lord's.

²⁷And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.
