Leviticus 27:28-30
Modern English Version
28 Anything that a man shall devote to the Lord from all that he has, whether human, animal, or land, shall not be sold or redeemed. Every devoted thing is most holy to the Lord.
29 No one devoted of men, who shall be doomed to death, shall be redeemed; he shall surely be put to death.
30 Any tithe of the land, whether seed of the land or fruit of the trees, belongs to the Lord. It is holy to the Lord.

28 “‘But nothing that a person owns and devotes[a](A) to the Lord—whether a human being or an animal or family land—may be sold or redeemed; everything so devoted is most holy(B) to the Lord.
29 “‘No person devoted to destruction[b] may be ransomed; they are to be put to death.(C)
30 “‘A tithe(D) of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy(E) to the Lord.
