New American Standard Bible

¹⁶The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire as a soothing aroma; ^(A)all fat is the Lord’s. ¹⁷It is a ^(B)permanent statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places: you shall not eat any fat ^(C)or any blood.’”

¹⁶The priest shall burn them on the altar^(A) as a food offering,^(B) a pleasing aroma.^(C) All the fat^(D) is the Lord’s.^(E)

¹⁷“‘This is a lasting ordinance^(F) for the generations to come,^(G) wherever you live:^(H) You must not eat any fat or any blood.^(I)’”
