16 Then the priest shall turn these into smoke on the altar as a food-offering by fire for a pleasing odour.

All fat is the Lord’s. 17 It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations, in all your settlements: you must not eat any fat or any blood.

16 The priest shall burn them on the altar(A) as a food offering,(B) a pleasing aroma.(C) All the fat(D) is the Lord’s.(E)

17 “‘This is a lasting ordinance(F) for the generations to come,(G) wherever you live:(H) You must not eat any fat or any blood.(I)’”
