²⁰ and do with this bull just as he did with the bull for the sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement^(A) for the community, and they will be forgiven.^(B)

²⁶ He shall burn all the fat on the altar as he burned the fat of the fellowship offering. In this way the priest will make atonement^(A) for the leader’s sin, and he will be forgiven.^(B)

³¹ They shall remove all the fat, just as the fat is removed from the fellowship offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar^(A) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^(B) In this way the priest will make atonement^(C) for them, and they will be forgiven.^(D)

²³ The goats^(A) for the sin offering were brought before the king and the assembly, and they laid their hands^(B) on them.

²⁴ The priests then slaughtered the goats and presented their blood on the altar for a sin offering to atone^(A) for all Israel, because the king had ordered the burnt offering and the sin offering for all Israel.^(B)
