GOD’S WORD Translation
31 He will remove all the fat the same way it is removed from the fellowship offering. The priest will burn it on the altar for a soothing aroma to the Lord. So the priest will make peace with the Lord for that person, and that person will be forgiven.
Offerings for Wrongdoing by a Common Person—Lambs
32 “If someone brings a lamb as his offering for sin, he must bring a female that has no defects. 33 He will place his hand on the animal’s head and slaughter it where he slaughters animals for burnt offerings.

New International Version
31 They shall remove all the fat, just as the fat is removed from the fellowship offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar(A) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(B) In this way the priest will make atonement(C) for them, and they will be forgiven.(D)
32 “‘If someone brings a lamb(E) as their sin offering, they are to bring a female without defect.(F) 33 They are to lay their hand on its head and slaughter it(G) for a sin offering(H) at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered.(I)
