⁵ So it shall be when he becomes guilty of one of these things, that he shall ^(A)confess that in which he has sinned.

⁴⁰ ‘But ^(A)if they confess their wrongdoing and the wrongdoing of their forefathers, in their unfaithfulness which they committed against Me, and also in their acting with hostility against Me— ⁴¹ I also was acting with hostility against them, to bring them into the land of their enemies—^(B)or if their uncircumcised heart is humbled so that ^(C)they then make amends for their wrongdoing,

¹⁹ Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, I implore you, ^(A)give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and give praise to Him; and tell me now what you have done. Do not hide it from me.”
