10 Then the priest, wearing his linen robe and linen shorts, shall remove the greasy ashes left on the altar and put them at the side of the altar. 11 Then he shall change his clothes and take the ashes outside the camp to a ritually clean place. 12 The fire on the altar must be kept burning and never allowed to go out. Every morning the priest shall put firewood on it, arrange the burnt offering on it, and burn the fat of the fellowship offering.

10 The priest shall then put on his linen clothes,(A) with linen undergarments next to his body,(B) and shall remove the ashes(C) of the burnt offering that the fire has consumed on the altar and place them beside the altar. 11 Then he is to take off these clothes and put on others, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a place that is ceremonially clean.(D) 12 The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood(E) and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat(F) of the fellowship offerings(G) on it.
