^18 (A)Every male among the sons of Aaron may eat it; it is a permanent ordinance throughout your generations, from the offerings by fire to the Lord. ^(B)Whoever touches them will become consecrated.’”

²² The anointed priest who will be in his place ^[a]among his sons shall ^[b]offer it. By a permanent ordinance it shall be entirely offered up in smoke to the Lord.

³⁴ For I have taken ^(A)the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the ^[a]contribution from the sons of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their due forever from the sons of Israel.

^36 [a]These the Lord had commanded to be given them from the sons of Israel in the day that He ^(A)anointed them. It is their due forever throughout their generations.’”

⁹ “^(A)Do not drink wine or strong drink, neither you nor your sons with you, when you come into the tent of meeting, so that you will not die—it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations—

^15 (A)The thigh offered by lifting up and the breast offered by waving they shall bring along with the offerings by fire of the portions of fat, to present as a wave offering before the Lord; so it shall be a thing perpetually due you and your sons with you, just as the Lord has commanded.”

An Annual Atonement

²⁹ “This shall be a permanent statute for you: ^(A)in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble your souls and not ^(B)do any work, whether the native, or the alien who sojourns among you;

^7 (A)They shall no longer sacrifice their sacrifices to the ^[a]goat demons with which they play the harlot. This shall be a permanent statute to them throughout their generations.”’

¹⁴ Until this same day, until you have brought in the offering of your God, ^(A)you shall eat neither bread nor roasted grain nor new growth. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.

²¹ On this same day you shall ^(A)make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation. You shall do no laborious ^(B)work. It is to be a perpetual statute in all your dwelling places throughout your generations.
