22 Then[a] Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to the Israelites,[b] saying, ‘You[c] must not eat any fat of ox, or[d] sheep, or[e] goat; 24 and a dead body’s fat or[f] mangled carcass’s fat may be used for any purpose,[g] but[h] you[i] certainly must not eat it.

22 The Lord said to Moses, 23 “Say to the Israelites: ‘Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.(A) 24 The fat of an animal found dead or torn by wild animals(B) may be used for any other purpose, but you must not eat it.
