^26 (A)You are not to eat any blood, either of bird or animal, in any of your dwellings. ²⁷ Any person who eats any blood, even that person shall be cut off from his people.’”

^16 (A)Only you shall not eat the blood; ^(B)you are to pour it out on the ground like water.

²³ Only be sure ^(A)not to eat the blood, for the blood is the ^[a]life, and you shall not eat the ^[b]life with the flesh. ²⁴ You shall not eat it; you shall pour it out on the ground like water. ²⁵ You shall not eat it, so that ^(B)it may be well with you and your sons after you, for ^(C)you will be doing what is right in the sight of the Lord.
