29 Moses took his part of the animal, the meat of the ribs, and he lifted it up to the Lord. The Lord had said that Moses must do this.

30 Moses took some of the oil and some of the blood from the altar. He shook them on Aaron and his sons. He also shook some of the blood and some of the oil on their clothes. He did that to make them holy.

31 Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, ‘Cook the meat at the door of the Tent of Meeting. Eat the meat with the bread in the basket by the door of the Tent of Meeting.

29 Moses also took the breast, which was his share of the ordination ram,(A) and waved it before the Lord as a wave offering, as the Lord commanded Moses.

30 Then Moses(B) took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood from the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments(C) and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated(D) Aaron and his garments and his sons and their garments.

31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, “Cook the meat at the entrance to the tent of meeting(E) and eat it there with the bread from the basket of ordination offerings, as I was commanded: ‘Aaron and his sons are to eat it.’
