⁵ He is to slaughter the bull before the Lord; Aaron’s sons the priests^(A) are to present the blood^(B) and sprinkle it^(C) on all sides of the altar that is at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

¹¹ He will slaughter it on the north side of the altar before the Lord. Aaron’s sons the priests will sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.

²¹ In the same way, he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the articles of worship with blood.^{(A) 22} According to the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.^(B)
