⁹ ‘^(A)If there is anyone who curses his father or his mother, he shall certainly be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother, and has brought his ^[a]own death upon himself.

⁴ For God said, ‘^(A)Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘^(B)The one who speaks evil of father or mother is to ^[a]be put to death.’

¹⁰ For Moses said, ‘^(A)Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘^(B)The one who speaks evil of father or mother, is ^[a]certainly to be put to death’;
