¹¹ and the Israelite woman's son ^(A)blasphemed the ^(B)Name, and cursed. Then they ^(C)brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹⁰ And set two ^(A)worthless men opposite him, and let them bring a charge against him, saying, ^(B)‘You have cursed^[a] God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.”

¹³ And the two worthless men came in and sat opposite him. And the worthless men brought a charge against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying, “Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.

⁶⁵ Then the high priest ^(A)tore his robes and said, ^(B)“He has uttered blasphemy. What further witnesses do we need? You have now heard his blasphemy. ⁶⁶ What is your judgment?” They answered, ^(C)“He deserves death.”

⁶³ And the high priest ^(A)tore his garments and said, “What further witnesses do we need? ⁶⁴ You have heard ^(B)his blasphemy. What is your decision?” And they ^(C)all condemned him as ^(D)deserving death.

³³ The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but ^(A)for blasphemy, because you, being a man, ^(B)make yourself God.”
