⁶ By the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the famine had become so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land.

¹⁶ Moreover He said to me, “Son of man, surely I will cut off the ^(A)supply of bread in Jerusalem; they shall ^(B)eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and shall ^(C)drink water by measure and with dread,

¹⁶ When I ^(A)send against them the terrible arrows of famine which shall be for destruction, which I will send to destroy you, I will increase the famine upon you and cut off your ^(B)supply of bread.
