²⁶ And he shall offer ^(A)all its fat up in smoke on the altar as in the case of the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings. So ^(B)the priest shall make atonement for him regarding his sin, and he will be forgiven.

²⁸ And ^(A)the priest shall make atonement before the Lord for the person who goes astray by an unintentional sin, making atonement for him ^[a]so that he may be forgiven.

¹⁷ Therefore, in all things He ^[a]had ^(A)to be made like His brothers so that He might ^(B)become a merciful and faithful ^(C)high priest in ^(D)things pertaining to God, to ^(E)make ^[b]propitiation for the sins of the people.
