³¹ Now listen: You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.^(A)

The Circumcision and Presentation of Jesus

²¹ When the eight days were completed for his circumcision,^(A) he was named Jesus^(B)—the name given by the angel before he was conceived.

²⁵ “I did tell you and you don’t believe,” Jesus answered them. “The works^(A) that I do in my Father’s name testify about me.
