⁶⁶And all those that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, Who shall this child be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.

⁶⁷¶ And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying,

⁶⁸Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and made redemption for his people

⁶⁶Everyone who heard this wondered about it, asking, “What then is this child going to be?” For the Lord’s hand was with him.^(A)

⁶⁷His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit^(B) and prophesied:^(C)

⁶⁸“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,^(D)
because he has come to his people and redeemed them.^(E)
