Woe to you, Bethsaida!(C) For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15 [b](D)And as for you, Capernaum, ‘Will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to the netherworld.’

13 “Woe to you,(C) Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth(D) and ashes. 14 But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15 And you, Capernaum,(E) will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades.[a]
