37 “The one who showed mercy(A) to him,” he said.
Then Jesus told him, “Go and do the same.”

38 While they were traveling, He entered a village, and a woman named Martha(B) welcomed Him into her home.[a] 39 She had a sister named Mary, who also sat at the Lord’s[b] feet(C) and was listening to what He said.[c]

37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha(A) opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary,(B) who sat at the Lord’s feet(C) listening to what he said.
