41 But (A)give that which is within as a charitable gift, and [a]then all things are (B)clean for you.
42 “(C)But woe to you Pharisees! For you (D)pay tithes of mint, rue, and every kind of garden herb, and yet you [b]ignore justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. 43 Woe to you Pharisees! For you (E)love the seat of honor in the synagogues and personal greetings in the marketplaces.

42 “Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth(C) of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love of God.(D) You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone.(E)
43 “Woe to you Pharisees, because you love the most important seats in the synagogues and respectful greetings in the marketplaces.(F)
