You build monuments[a] to the prophets,(A) and your fathers killed(B) them. 48 Therefore, you are witnesses(C) that you approve[b](D) the deeds of your fathers, for they killed them, and you build their monuments.[c] 49 Because of this, the wisdom of God(E) said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles,(F) and some of them they will kill and persecute,’(G)
