20 And he got up and went to his father.
“While he was still a long way off, his father saw him and his heart was stirred with love and pity. He ran to him, hugged him tight, and kissed him. 21 ‘Father,’ the son began, ‘I have sinned against heaven and before you; I don’t deserve to be called your son any longer.’ 22 But the father said to his servants, ‘Hurry! Bring the best clothes and put them on him! Put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet!

21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.(B) I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe(C) and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger(D) and sandals on his feet.
