Luke 15:20-24
New American Standard Bible
20 So he set out and came to [a]his father. But when he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and [b](A)embraced him and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and [c]in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ 22 But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly bring out (B)the best robe and put it on him, and [d](C)put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet; 23 and bring the fattened calf, slaughter it, and let’s eat and celebrate; 24 for this son of mine was (D)dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.(A)
21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.(B) I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe(C) and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger(D) and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again;(E) he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.(F)
