3 Pay attention to yourselves! (A)If your brother sins, (B)rebuke him, and if he repents, (C)forgive him, 4 and if he sins against you (D)seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

5 (E)The apostles said to the Lord, (F)“Increase our faith!” 6 And the Lord said, (G)“If you had faith like (H)a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this (I)mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

3 So watch yourselves.
“If your brother or sister[a] sins against you, rebuke them;(A) and if they repent, forgive them.(B) 4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”(C)
5 The apostles(D) said to the Lord,(E) “Increase our faith!”
6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed,(F) you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.(G)
