Luke 19:15-19
New American Standard Bible
15 When he returned after receiving the kingdom, he ordered that these slaves, to whom he had given the money, be summoned to him so that he would learn how much they had made by the business they had done. 16 The first slave appeared, saying, ‘[a]Master, your [b]mina has made ten minas more.’ 17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good slave; since you have been (A)faithful in a very little thing, you are to have authority over ten cities.’ 18 The second one came, saying, ‘Your [c]mina, [d]master, has made five minas.’ 19 And he said to him also, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’

15 “He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.
16 “The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’
17 “‘Well done, my good servant!’(A) his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’(B)
18 “The second came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned five more.’
19 “His master answered, ‘You take charge of five cities.’
