20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for everything which they heard and saw, just as it was spoken to them.

21 And when eight days were fulfilled that they might circumcise Him, His name was indeed called Jesus— the name having been named by the angel before[a] He was conceived in the womb.

22 And when the days of their purification according to the Law of Moses were fulfilled[b], they brought Him up to Jerusalem so as to present Him to the Lord

20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God(A) for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.
21 On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child,(B) he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he was conceived.(C)

22 When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses,(D) Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord
