26 It was revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. 27 Led by the Spirit, he came into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, 28 he received Him in his arms and blessed God and said:

When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required,(A) 28 Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:
