37 and herself being a widow up-to[a] eighty four years, who was not departing from the temple, serving[b] night and day with fastings and prayers. 38 And having come-upon them at the very hour, she was returning-thanks to God, and was speaking about Him to all the ones waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.

39 And when they finished all the things according to the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee— to their own city, Nazareth.

New International Version
37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four.[a](A) She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.(B) 38 Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.(C)
39 When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth.(D)
