¹⁶He will come and destroy^(A) those farmers and give the vineyard to others.”

¹⁶He will come and kill those tenants^(A) and give the vineyard to others.”

When the people heard this, they said, “God forbid!”

¹⁶He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.

³¹Do we then cancel the law through faith? Absolutely not!^(A) On the contrary, we uphold the law.^(B)

³¹Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.

³¹Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
