³⁴ “^(A)Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap;

²¹ envying, ^(A)drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not ^(B)inherit the kingdom of God.

¹⁸ And ^(A)do not get drunk with wine, ^[a]for that is ^(B)dissipation, but be ^(C)filled with the Spirit,

³ For ^(A)the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, ^[a](B)having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties and ^[b]abominable idolatries.
