³⁷Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple,^(A) and each evening he went out^(B) to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives,^(C)

³⁹He came out and went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him.^(A)

³⁹Jesus went out as usual^(B) to the Mount of Olives,^(C) and his disciples followed him.
