52 Then Jesus spoke to the arresting party—the chief priests, the Temple guards, and the elders.
“Anyone would think I was a brigand,” he said, “seeing you coming out like this with swords and clubs! 53 Every day I’ve been in the Temple with you and you never laid hands on me. But your moment has come at last, and so has the power of darkness.”
Peter denies Jesus
54 So they arrested Jesus, took him off, and brought him into the high priest’s house. Peter followed at a distance.

52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard,(A) and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? 53 Every day I was with you in the temple courts,(B) and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour(C)—when darkness reigns.”(D)
