59 And about the space of an hour afterwards, another affirmed, saying, Surely this fellow was with him, for he is from Galilee. 60 And Peter said, Man, I don’t know what you are talking about.
And immediately, while he yet spoke, the cock crew. 61 And the Lord turned back and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the words of the Lord, how he said to him, Before the cock crows, you will deny me three times.

59 About an hour later another asserted, “Certainly this fellow was with him, for he is a Galilean.”(A)
60 Peter replied, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Just as he was speaking, the rooster crowed. 61 The Lord(B) turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.”(C)
