33 And when they came into a place, that is called of Calvary[a], there they crucified him, and the thieves, one on the right half, and the other on the left half.
34 But Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And they parted his clothes, and cast lots [Forsooth they parting his clothes, sent lots].
35 And the people stood abiding; and the princes scorned him with them, and said, Other men he made safe; make he himself safe, if this be Christ, the chosen of God. 33 When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father,(A) forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”[a](B) And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.(C)
35 The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him.(D) They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.”(E)
