Luke 23:45-47
New Living Translation

45 The light from the sun was gone. And suddenly, the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn down the middle. 46 Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!”[a] And with those words he breathed his last.

47 When the Roman officer[b] overseeing the execution saw what had happened, he worshiped God and said, “Surely this man was innocent.[c]”

New International Version

45 for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple(A) was torn in two.(B) 46 Jesus called out with a loud voice,(C) “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”[a](D) When he had said this, he breathed his last.(E)

47 The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God(F) and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.”
