Luke 23:46-48

46 Then Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” Having said this, he breathed his last.(A) 47 When the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God and said, “Certainly this man was innocent.”[a](B) 48 And when all the crowds who had gathered there for this spectacle saw what had taken place, they returned home, beating their breasts.

47 The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God(D) and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.” 48 When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts(E) and went away.
