49 (A)All those who knew Jesus personally, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance to watch.

50-51 There was a man named Joseph from Arimathea, a town in Judea. He was a good and honorable man, who was waiting for the coming of the Kingdom of God. Although he was a member of the Council, he had not agreed with their decision and action.

49 But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee,(A) stood at a distance,(B) watching these things.

50 Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the Council, a good and upright man, 51 who had not consented to their decision and action. He came from the Judean town of Arimathea, and he himself was waiting for the kingdom of God.(D)
