Luke 23:46-48

⁴⁶ Then Jesus cried out with a loud voice and said, “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.”^[a] After he said this, he breathed his last.

⁴⁷ When the centurion^[b] saw what had taken place, he praised God and said, “This man certainly was righteous!” ⁴⁸ When all the crowds who had come together for this spectacle saw what had taken place, they beat their chests and left.
