²⁰^(A)and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him.

New International Version

²⁰The chief priests and our rulers^(A) handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him;

²¹But we were hoping ^(A)that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened.

²¹but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel.^(A) And what is more, it is the third day^(B) since all this took place.
