²⁵ And then He said to them, “^[a]You foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that ^(A)the prophets have spoken!

²⁷ Then beginning ^[a]with ^(A)Moses and ^[b]with all the ^(B)Prophets, He explained to them the things written about Himself in all the Scriptures.

²⁷ For those who live in Jerusalem, and their ^(A)rulers, ^(B)recognizing neither Him nor the ^[a]declarations of ^(C)the prophets which are ^(D)read every Sabbath, fulfilled these by condemning Him.
