29 But they ·begged [urged] him, “Stay with us, because it is late; it is almost night.” So he went in to stay with them.

But when they saw who he was, he disappeared.

30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it(A) and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him,(B) and he disappeared from their sight.
