^22 (A)Blessed are you when men hate you, and ^(B)ostracize you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man.

¹¹ We count those ^(A)blessed who endured. You have heard of ^(B)the ^[a]endurance of Job and have seen ^(C)the ^[b]outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that ^(D)the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.

¹⁴ But even if you should ^(A)suffer for the sake of righteousness, ^(B)you ^[a]are blessed. ^(C)And do not fear their ^[b]intimidation, and do not be troubled,

¹⁴ If you are reviled ^[a](A)for the name of Christ, ^(B)you are blessed, ^(C)because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
