⁷ Now the scribes and the Pharisees ^(A)were watching Him ^[a]closely to see if He healed on the Sabbath, so that they might find a reason to accuse Him.

Jesus Heals on the Sabbath

14 It happened that when He went into the house of one of the ^[a]leaders of the Pharisees on the Sabbath to eat bread, ^(A)they were watching Him ^[b]closely.

^20 (A)And so they watched Him ^[a]closely, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, in order ^(B)that they might catch Him in some statement, so that they could hand Him over to the jurisdiction and authority of ^(C)the governor.
